GNUmobile 0.1 alpha

We decided to turn an Oldsmobile into a GNUmobile so we could arrive at Foo Camp in style. The result is the first car that is powered primarily by Open Source technology. Here is a photo of the front of the car:

Of course, the most interesting part of the car is what's under the hood -- or at least under the dashboard. This is the first car that you can drive entirely from the command line, although right now it is a rather jerky ride that we could only attempt in an empty parking lot. We hacked this in a big rush before Foo, so it is pretty strung together, but we will post our code on SourceForge when it is a little further along. We will also post some hardware diagrams that show how the petals and wheel are controlled by the software.
