In the spring of 1997 I took a really wonderful class from John Maeda. The class was run like a design studio, but instead of working in clay or paints we worked in Java applets. Every week we each worked on a problem set for some sort of abstract visual design problem. The students' work is online; the exhibition and best of pages give a sampling of the whole classes work.

The images here are a catalog of all my own work. The applets themselves are pretty abstract. Try clicking a few times in the applet frame. If you really want to make sense of it, read my exposition or the assignment text.
