At Buenos Aires University my senior research thesis was the design and production of a hypermedia version of the first part of Genesis. This interactive hypertext was motivated by the belief that the Bible is an open and dynamic story-telling book that can be navigated according to a socio-historical context and by cognitive styles and exploratory instincts of the learner.
My main goal was to design a technological tool that can help people get a sense of their religious identity as a constructed everyday process and not as a given, static fact. The hypertext system, which I've called "Genesis to build up", was incorporated by Rabbi Sergio Bergman, into Emanu-El Reform Jewish Community where I have worked for more than five years as a volunteer educator.
