In Memorium

On the morning of the18th July1994, a bomb on the central house of the Argentinean Jewish Community, AMIA, killed 86 innocent people and destroyed a building that hosted the memories of the Community since 1945.

This page is a humble homage to the victims and families of the massacre. It is also a request for Justice. The perpetrators are still at large.

Every monday morning a group of people gather in front of the Palace of Justice in Buenos Aires in silent "active memory". Memory is a way to prevent other attacks. Memory is to ask for Justice. Memory is the only way in which the death would rest in peace.

"El eco de la memoria" by Alicia Messing. Tela cruzada verticalmente por una grieta con los nombres de los asesinados el 18 de Julio manuscritos siete veces.

Speech given by a representative of the families of the victims, during the commemoration of the third anniversary of the bomb (in Spanish).
