My academic research centers on artificial intelligence (AI) and related fields of inquiry including cognitive science, robot simulations, natural language processing, expert systems, planning, constraint satisfaction, machine learning, human-computer interactions, and software agents. As an engineer and researcher, I aim to use AI techniques to help solve real-world problems in a variety of domains.

I have recently completed my studies in AI-related technologies as an S.M. candidate and a Telecom Italia Fellow in Pattie Maes' Software Agents Group at MIT's Media Laboratory. I helped lead our Agent-mediated Electronic Commerce (AmEC) Initiative and focused on agent-mediated integrative negotiation approaches for online retail markets as well as building a next-generation electronic commerce infrastructure.

The evaluation and realization of my T@T value-based online shopping system continues as a commercial venture with the ultimate goal of Frictionless Commerce.
