What is your company about?Harmonix develops real-time interactive music technologies for mass-market entertainment applications. The company was started in May 1995 by Alex Rigopulos and Eran Egozy, both Media Lab grads.They will be joined soon by Andy Hong, yet another Media Labber from many years ago.
How many employees do you have?
As of November 1996, we have 10 employees (and are growing rapidly).
What stage are you in?
Harmonix's flagship product-dubbed The Axe- made its public debut at the E3 show in Atlanta.
Harmonix has raised roughly $1M in seed financing and will soon raise additional capital. A product demo has already been completed and will soon be in beta. The company will launch in spring 1997.
