Relying on Trade
The downside of specialization is an increased reliance on your suppliers. If you specialize in food, you need a large amount
of energy. If too little energy is produced, you may end up paying high prices for it. Of course, one reaction to a shortage
may well be to shift into producing the rare commodity. (However, the player is likely to lose scale bonuses during the
transition.)
