This installation at 13th and Chestnut in center city Philadelphia was created by Bill and Lynn Tomlinson with a grant from the Artfront Partnership.

a carrier from Bill's film "Shaft of Light," wrapped in clay, who is the model for the big man.
The only access to the space was less than two feet wide, so we had to build him in situ.
It took about six weeks to build. Sometimes there were spectators.

The big
guy is holding a 20" monitor in one hand and a little video camera in the other.
There is a live video feed from the camera to the monitor, so that when you are
watching the man in the big "box", he's watching you in the little "box".
