What is scribe phone?
Scribe phone is an initial concept sketch dealing with a new way to use video phone technology. Instead of sending jerky video images, this system sends real time drawings or other still visuals allowing users to communicate with sketches as well as voice. Images can be captured by standard video input connections or by faxing to the scribe phone. This enables the system to send and receive faxes. It is not a personal digital assistant. It is a communication device with visual and audio capabilities. It is a product which is part of a group of what I like to think of a s transitional products. These transitional products like scanners, faxmachines, modems, and PDA'S are all products trying to allow access and manipulation of information in the computer realm and communicate it to others efficiently.
