The photograph illustrate pieces for a furniture construction course called architecture of objects in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. The focus of the class was exploring the use materials such as corian, rubber, and metal to construct home furnishings. the light is aluminum with a corian base. By simply touching the lamp light is evoked. The pattern etched in the lamp creates a interesting light pattern on the ceiling. The table has aluminum lags flush with the crafted corian top.
