A piece i created in a metal working course at the University of Michigan School of Art. It is a hollow form made up of copper sheet material. It is about 4 inches tall. The lines on the surface are cut lines. before creating the hollow form i cut up the copper then soldered the pieces back together fo an interesting surface effect. This also helped me enhance my soldering skills do to the complexity of the process. Again i am experimenting with oxidation on the surface for coloration of the copper.
